"Vypadkova Zustrich" is a sculpture located in a beautiful square in the center of the city. The composition was unfortunately destroyed by vandals, but it was considered one of the city's notable landmarks. The sculpture itself is a little bit eerie, with its unusual painted appearance, but it adds an interesting touch to the park near the drama theater. Despite the theft of one of its figures, the remaining half of the composition still stands as a captivating piece of art. People can sit next to it and take photos, enjoying the unique view it offers. Although some may find it strange, the sculpture has become a part of the city's identity and is admired by many.

Read more »the sculptural composition was the American John Zvozek, an architect from Princeton who moved to Ukraine as a Peace Corps volunteer and worked for two years in the ecology department in Ternopil.
In March 2002, it was installed in the central square. Ternopil became the first city in Europe to receive a sculpture by the artist.
The sculpture depicted two women, acquaintances of each other, who met by chance and are having a lively conversation. However, "Random Meeting" did not last long - less than a year after installation, one of the two metal intercoms was stolen. So, for more than twenty years, a lady in an elegant blue suit has been keeping the residents of Ternopil and guests of the city company, because it looks as if it is a special sculpture for taking pictures next to it in the appropriate pose.
