The architecture of the building is an elegant and picturesque Brynkovyan style, which is very characteristic of some historical buildings of Bucharest. The Byzantine style prevails in the interior design. The church is decorated with frescoes, elaborate wooden and stone sculptures and beautiful paintings.

Undoubtedly, it is worth a visit. Besides, you will enjoy neo-byzantine music performed by the choir inside, so it is a peaceful and relaxing place as well.
You can visit the library next to the church with a collection of old icons and ecclesiastical objects as well.

All that remains from the original monastery is the church, alongside a building from the beginning of the 20th century which shelters a library, a conference room and a collection of old (early 18th century) icons and ecclesiastical objects, and parts of wall paintings recovered from churches demolished during the communist regime. This new building was constructed following the plans of architect Ion Mincu.
