The palace and park ensemble, located on the territory of 600 hectares. Previously, on these lands were royal hunting grounds. In 1777, the lands were transferred into the possession of Crown Prince Paul I, who planned to build a grand residence for himself here. For four years, they built a palace and set up a park. After the death of Paul I, his widow lived in the residence, who put a lot of effort and money into expanding and decorating the complex.

Wonderful place! Very soulful ❤️ Be sure to check out the souvenir shop at the palace - find works by local artists there, as well as bookmarks and brooches with local dried flowers!

Disgusting attitude of museum workers towards visitors. She came as a parent with two children. At first, they started up with only one child, they said, let the second one stand in the cold, waiting. Then, after long expectations and conversations, .. Then they waited in the cloakroom for 9 people, who is still unclear who, for 35 minutes while the group supposedly gathered. Due to the great loss of time, we naturally managed to pass only half of the halls with the exhibits, we had to leave, otherwise we would have missed the train. The mood is spoiled and there is no more desire to come to Pavlovsk.

The scale of the park's territory is impressive, but the maintenance of objects and buildings is depressing.

Magnificent park. Beautiful views, a huge area to lay out different routes for walking. Very well maintained place. Even when there are many people in the park, secluded corners can be found.
Of the minuses - few toilets.

This is my favorite park of all in the Leningrad region. Little England. We rented bicycles right in the park, you can't go around such vast spaces on foot. Everything is well maintained. Peace, silence, beauty. We went here 2 times in a row.

Great park for walking and cycling. Immediately at the entrance from the train station are high pine trees, which will perfectly close you from the sun on a hot day.

The entrance to the park costs about 100 rubles.
The park is just HUGE. We walked there all day, but not even half passed. There are open spaces with benches and platforms, as well as absolute wilderness - as if climbing into a wild forest. There are also museums, but we were not in any of them.
I recommend taking the nuts with you to feed the squirrels who will come to you to meet and beg.
Food and drinks in the park are quite expensive, so I recommend taking snacks with you. Or you can have a tasty meal with a delicious shawderma right across the street opposite the entrance to the station.
