Absolutely historical and beautiful place to visit. There is a building that almost 1000(thousand!) years old. This building saw the evolution from Kyiv Rus to present Ukraine and survived it all. Definitely recommend to come and see this historic place and enjoy the spirit.

If you want to see a real piece of Kyiv you should visit Vydubetsky monastery. After noisy streets you will find yourself in a calm cosy place. Different varities different colours insane scent. Coming back to monastery you will never regret, ancient architecture, quiet place to have a thought about ethernity. It is not a coinsedence that nany rich Kievans were attending services here and burried here.
