The building of the city authorities of the XVI century in the typical style of the late "German Gothic" with elements of the Renaissance and Rococo. The oldest facade of the town hall overlooks Marktplatz square, of all the other parts of the building it is the only one preserved almost in its original form. Opposite the building is a monument in honor of the Elector Johann Wilhelm of Palatinate - a great connoisseur of art who has done a lot for Dusseldorf.

There are cool flags around. The plenary hall is also extremely cool. You feel really political! When I grow up I want to go into politics too, my mom would even vote for me if she wasn't dead by then :(

The promenade is the footpath on the eastern bank of the Rhine. On sunny days you can see a beautiful mix of people walking, sitting on benches, riding bicycles or just relaxing and enjoying the view.
Düsseldorf certainly has many charming spots that remind residents of its agricultural history. Baroque design exists alongside buildings from the late 19th and early 20th centuries, as well as modern buildings.
