Petřín Hill is located on the left bank of the Vltava River, in the Malaya Side quarter. The most picturesque and highest (327 m) of the seven hills of Prague is covered with legends: standing on Petřín Hill, Grand Duchess Libushe predicted the emergence of the city of Prague on a steep cliff above the Vltava, the fame of which will reach the stars.
We won’t up the hill with the funicular. A very nice ride which the kids loved. Up the hill was nothing special. We went on the tower to look at the view and went right down.
Loved the place and one of the must visit. Be carful they check tickets on the way back before exiting, make sure you have a valid ticket otherwise will be fined, not sure why they don’t check tickets at the entrance!
Beautiful park specially on the cherry blossom season. The tower is not that special but the area and funicular ride is good as a first timer. Vibrant area. Do prepare to walk a lot in steep terrain.

12/05/23: primarily a good experience and a lovely trip to the top of the Petrin, to reach the gardens and Tower. However, the funicular isn't that big and it will get packed full and the staff will squeeze you in. My advice is to get there earl.. Having done it once, next time I would projet a single up and walk back through the gardens.
There is little to see at the top. No views of the city from the park. Having climbed up, or taken the funicular, your best options are either to go up the tower, or walk back down to the city, enjoying the beautiful views on the way.

Its a smaller version of Eiffel tower to get a nice view of Praha. There is a ticket to get to the top. There is an elevator to reach the top but usually busy with seniors so we had to take stairs. The view is nice from top but its not open. There ar.. Read more »e glass windows at the top.
Beautiful place for walk with spectacular views across Prague.

We went in for a sunset and had some remarkable views of Prague. We spent about 300 here for tickets, and it was an overall nice experience. It gets crowded though.
Nice place for a walk, if you don't take cable car, be prepared for a steep walk. Good place to wander through greenery.
Very good place for walking and relaxing. If you like to see Prague from the top then it is highly recommend
An absolutely awesome spot to see a panoramic view of Prague! Definitely take the cable car up the hill and save your legs for the climb up the tower to see those amazing views. Top view is magnificent
Best spot in Prague. With a funicular on the peak all the way down to the bottom
By far the most beautiful gardens in Prague!
I will definitely come back!
Amazing in a rainy day
Not worth it
Excellent view and lush green forest all around

A sweet promenade among the greenery garden ? Just awesomeness with deep fresh air
The biggest hill in the area of the city center and one of the best places to go for the views in Prague. Park itself has almost infinite number of pathways, so it's great for walks or some uphill running.
You can enjoy beautiful view on this hill. Less crowded than the castle. Love this park and road to the ?
Very exciting to visit, you can see whole Prague from the viewpoint.
Mini Eiffel Tower. It has beautiful view of the city from the top. It’s more beautiful at the night. It also has a rose Graden near by which is equally beautiful to sit and relax for some time.
