The Museum of the Proskur underground is a small yet captivating museum in Khmelnytskyi that offers a unique perspective on the city's history. It aims to debunk the misconception that Khmelnytskyi was associated with Bandera, emphasizing its residents' courageous resistance against German invaders during World War II. The museum focuses primarily on the Proskur underground, showcasing numerous photographs and historical maps that provide valuable insights into the movement of troops, attacks on the region, and the strategies employed during the struggle. Visitors appreciate the informative and engaging tours conducted by knowledgeable guides, who passionately share the stories of those who participated in the underground movement. Although the museum is housed in a historic building, little is known about its pre-war history. Nevertheless, it offers a valuable opportunity to learn about the brave individuals who fought for their freedom and the people. While some visitors feel that the museum could benefit from modernization and a broader coverage of anti-fascist resistance in Podillya, others believe that the spirit of the times has been effectively preserved. The museum maintains a clean and well-maintained appearance, and the presence of a QR code on the building allows for convenient access to additional information about the historical moments depicted. Overall, the Museum of the Proskur underground is an interesting and worthwhile destination for history enthusiasts visiting Khmelnytskyi.

An interesting museum, given its rare subject matter. There is a lack of renewal, modernization of the exposition and wider coverage of the anti-fascist resistance in Podillya

It's really small, but there's a lot of information in it. I was there on a small conference on September 22, 2018. Very cozy place in which there is a lot of information about Proskuriv of the twentieth century.
