I would have liked to know the modern art museum was closed before buying my ticket. The outdoor park and indoor Gulbenkian exhibits can be seen for free and are just as impressive as the paid exhibits. I will have to come back to see the modern art museum whenever it is completed.

The museums houses several collection, from middle eastern carpets to Chinese ceramics. Some pieces of monet and degas. If you have some time walk around the gardens that surround the museum and enjoy the peace and scenery. I would not recommend to miss this place if you’re visiting Lisbon, you won’t regret it.
