Montparnasse Tower

Paris, France
4.6 / 155
The only skyscraper in the city is more than 200 meters in height. The tower houses company offices, shops, banks and restaurants. More than 5,000 employees are in the building daily. You can get to the observation deck if you use high-speed elevators that raise passengers to the level of 56 floors in a few tens of seconds. The tower was erected in the period 1969-1972.
Address:33 Avenue du Maine, Paris

Cool view and restaurant but I expected the rest of the tour to be more fancy? It was hard to find the entrance and didn’t feel so special. Could be more information about the monuments too. Expensive to pay 14€ (student) for just that. Re.. Read more »
We visited the Montparnasse Tower as part of our Paris pass. If you want the best view of Paris, this is definitely the place. Downside it took us forever to find where we needed to enter by. The queue inside wasn’t too long but it was early mo.. Read more »
Great view of Paris. I would say better than from Eiffel Tower. Quite windy, but glass cover worked. Nice to try 360• virtual glasses on floor 56. Recommend to visit in evening/night.
Although the building is considered ugly by many, the views from it offer stunning views of Paris. We bought tickets online before and walked right through no wait. It is possible to buy tickets on site but you may need to wait. There is an indoor an.. Read more »
Visited the Observation deck of the Montparnasse Tower, tallest building in Paris - would thoroughly recommend a visit upon dusk - to get the daylight views and then stay for the lights to come on. This would allow better identification of the iconic.. Read more »
Very quick elevator to the 56th floor. Disappointed that the windows were dirty and the rooms had these bright garish lights making photo taking more challenging. Definitely go for sunset!
Great place for entire family. Amazing 360° view of the most beautiful city on Earth - Paris. My children were delighted with the views. You have to add this place to your own list of things to see in Paris😉
Quite fun up there, love the ❤️Paris sign! The funky lights lit up when evening arrives. Besides the view, a cafe, a 10-minutes short movie with archive Paris and a gift shop. If I could choose again, I would book the restaurant instead, to enjoy bot.. Read more »

Great place to experience panoramic view of beautiful Paris city. To view Eiffel Tower make sure the sky is clear on that day. If it’s cloudy or rainy it won’t be a clear view, I’ll avoid visiting during those days.
Since we bought the tickets from Get your guide in advance, we didn’t have to wait. We booked a time slot and so we got in quickly when it was time. On the 56th floor you have a small cafe. And the most beautiful view of the whole Paris. We boo.. Read more »

Probably the best view of all of Paris. I particularly suggest a night visit there, the city lights are something to behold. Unforgettable experience!
Best place for the views of all of Paris. Plus the building will be refurbished so it will get better. I do recommend this place. There’s an app that explains Paris thru history that’s very interesting, lounging & drinks
It was an amazing view. I don't know how frequent it is, but we were on the top on friday night and there was a party going on which was a pleasant surprise. I recommend it 100 %, it's worth it at night time.
The view from the top of the tower is beautiful. But please note that it is open until 23:30 (in summer) and the tickets for the same can be bought on their website. The timings mentioned in Google are incorrect if you are just going to check out vie.. Read more »
Great view of Paris. Even in so so weather it is spectacular and the personnel is very helpful and friendly.
The ultimate view of Paris! With a cosy terrasse to watch the sky change. Even on a cloudy day the light is very impressive as well as the moments when parts of the city are in sunlight and some are not.
Best way to end the Paris tour. Magnificent view from the top on the tower.
Best view of Paris because the Eiffel Tower is in the view rather than the view coming from the tower. Sunset time is perfect. Ice skating on the roof in winter. Bar and snacks available and toilets. Highly recommended.
A beautiful building, but due to the coronavirus, the observation deck does not work !!
