Nice historical place. I felt like I was in another era, in old Russia. It had no visitors at all, I was almost alone. Everrything is covered in snow. I had come in the spring. It was very beautiful.

This monument of architecture was built in the XIII century and originally used as a monastery.
Great place to find out another Russia. Old, mysterious and beautiful.

Very nice for tourists if you want to feel the Vibe of 'old Moscow'. It feels like a little escape to the past from a modern metropolis. One of the few places in the city where you can still see monumental wooden houses. They where renovati.. Read more »ng it in the spring 2017 so it is probably looking nicer now.
