Holy Cross Cathedral

The Holy Cross Cathedral is the most beautiful landmark in Uzhhorod, located on the road up to the castle. It is a very old, yet incredibly beautiful Cathedral that exudes a peaceful and serene atmosphere. Visitors often describe it as an amazing and peaceful place, with a very silent and tranquil ambiance. The church is loved by the locals, who are grateful to Father Vladislav Ihnatyshyn, the Bishops, Priests, and all those who have contributed to making the Cathedral a wonderful place. While it may not be the most breathtaking cathedral one has ever seen, considering the size of the town, it is still a pretty church that adds flair to the area. Uzhhorod itself is a very nice town, and the Holy Cross Cathedral is definitely worth a visit. It is a great place to experience the rich history and enjoy the quiet beauty of the surroundings. Some may question the use of gold and ornate decorations in such a humble town, but the overall experience of visiting this historical place outweighs any concerns.
