Recommend for: everyone
Pros: free, safe crosswalks, safe feeling during the day, lots of restaurants and activities.
Cons: parking is challenging, restrooms are limited (many places do not have public restrooms) so plan ahead.
I wasn’t that excited about this but felt I had to give it a try. First off everyone is looking down reading stars and we only bumped into two people. Everyone was super nice about that and people were respectful about taking photos with star giving others time for photos. Their were lots of tour companies offering bus or van tours of the area sights for around $20. And their were a few street performers around, not too many since it was mid day on a week day.
Walking down the street was a walk down memory lane. I saw a lot of naked I have not seen in years. The sidewalk is flat and in good shape. If you are disabled most of the street crossing are ramped and have audio and visual indicators.
