I've waited so long to go here, wanted to enjoy it with my sons (hockey players). We finally got that opportunity recently and it was totally worth it.

I could have read more stories but they were antsy to do all the action centers so I may need to go back on my own. 😉
The staff was fantastic and helped with any questions, etc. You can tell that so many enjoy the experience to work there.

Lots of interesting exhibits and definitely a must visit for hockey fans. However, it's not wide or extensive enough to warrant multiple visits over a long period of time. Be aware that the Stanley Cup on display is only a replica.

Good that you get a stamp on your hand, so you can go out and back in again - we went out for lunch in the food court (good) and came back to look at more stuff.

Has the humble beginnings of hockey from back in the 1890’s, and brings it forward to the last Stanley Cup Champions Colorado Avalanche. Tons of history, not just NHL,.. The mask exhibit was cool with a nice shout to Plante for being the first to insist on a mask. Plenty of things for kids too, interactive shootouts and also goaltending drills. Had a wonderful time and for $20 or so a person it’s a superb value. The gift shop at the end is also nice, nothing outrageously priced.

Oh it was an amazing experience. Walking around seeing all the great scenes and items hanging on display. The shot the puck and shootout were fun for the family. Really enjoyed seeing the Stanley Cup. Only chance a Leaf fan like myself will get close to it, so I spend a little extra time in the trophy room on the 2nd floor.
Enjoyed the Gretzky and Howe exhibit. It should remain permanent as they are and were the greatest ever.
On exiting you go through the gift shop. Purchased the new '72 Series book by Morrison. Lots of stuff to buy, but the real memorabilia is downstairs.

It is a great place for both young and old alike to come together. All of the important events are captured with great detail and fanfare. There is even the appropriate amount of tributes to Gretzky and Mr. Hockey too.
The virtual goalie and shooter game is fun for everyone. Even non hockey fans have fun trying to score on an NHL hockey goalie.
The Hall of Legends is amazing! It is just like being in a church with the stained glass ceiling.
I also loved the recreated Montreal Canadians locker room. It really brings home how central the Habs have been to most of hockey's history.
The jerseys from around the world was a nice touch to show that hockey is loved around the world.
Now that there are a number of women in the Hall of Fame I think that it may be time to dedicate an area of the museum to the women of the game. There were many girls and women visitors as well as the boys and men who would love to learn about the women pioneers in more detail.
I could really feel the torch being passed from me to my sons while we were here.
Yes the legacy if hockey is alive and well here.
