A nice renaissance building. You can enter freely and enjoy the atmosphere. There are not much to do but you can walk in there, if you are interested in renaissance architecture you may love this building. There are nice historical sculptures. People.. Read more » say that there will be musicians playing in the court but I didn't see. Also I guess in winter there will be ice sculptures.

During winter you can see amazing sculptures made of ice, in the yard. The fountain is also a wonderful scene for festivals, concerts and movie projections. It is also the home of the Styrian regional parliament. 48 members of the Styrian provincial government meet in the baroque salon, the picturesque Arkadenhof. The interior is extremely richly decorated and equipped. A real jewel. The atmosphere is wonderful.

We walked through this mostly empty example of the first Renaissance building to be built in the city of Graz, starting in 1557. Today the Styria State Parliament meets in the lavish parlor. Otherwise, it is a wonderful example of Italian architectu.. Read more »re with its lovely arches, tiers, and stonework, but it looked like it was unoccupied, as it is used mostly for festivals. The street was busy and noisy, but inside on the piazza, it was quiet and hushed. The Famous Glockenspiel sits atop the gable roof and at described times, the doors open and mechanical dancers appear to 'dance' to the chimes.
