Dormition Cathedral

The Dormition Cathedral is an incredible sight that can be seen from various locations in the city. It was previously the National House of Organic and Chamber Music of Ukraine before being transformed into a cathedral. The bell tower, built in the late 18th century, is especially elegant with its baroque style. However, while the exterior is stunning, the interior has a more modern feel compared to the Annunciation Cathedral. The cathedral itself is a majestic building, with architecture that somewhat resembles the Gothic style. It even houses an organ hall. It has become a symbol of good fortune for the city and is definitely worth a visit. The only downside is that the nearby city municipality building somewhat detracts from its overall grandeur. The Bell Tower serves as a dominant architectural feature in the city. All the major streets in the center of the city seem to lead to it. Positioned at the end of a long hill, it is surrounded by two flowing rivers, giving the hill the shape of a tongue. In the past, the golden dome of the Bell Tower could be seen from kilometers away, serving as a beacon for merchants and traders.
