319 meters high in East Manhattan, once owned by the Chrysler Automobile Company. The skyscraper was built in the art deco style, designed by architect Van Allen. The top is decorated with massive rounded arches crowned by a sharp spire. In general, it feels like the whole structure is floating in the air. The construction is considered one of the most stylish skyscrapers in the world.

Only allowed into foyer and have to keep to the sides as u walk around . Like walking back into a 1930s time capsule but tbh nothing to see or do here . It’s a building used by private offices so u can’t go above ground level .

Built between 1928 and 1930, the Chrysler Building was briefly the tallest in the world, at 1,046 feet (318.8 metres). It claimed this honour in November 1929—when the building was topped off with a 180-foot (55-metre) spire—and held the .. Read more »
