The cape is located about 60 km from Varna on the Dobrudzhan plateau. It is included in the list of the hundred most picturesque sights of Bulgaria. On its territory is a nature reserve. The cliffs of the cape rise 70 meters above the sea, protecting the bay from cold winds. The legend of 40 girls who rushed to the Black Sea in order not to be captured by the Ottoman Turks is associated with this place.

There's a lovely restaurant halfway down the walk, which, while expensive, is probably set in just the right place for people needing refreshment and food during the trip.

Caliacra cape is a wonderful natural monument. The road up there is wonderful,with many wind turbines on both sides. The view is amazing. A place that must be visited if you are passing by. There is also a restaurant and souvenir shops.

Well cmon people, it’s an archeological site, it’s supposed to be mostly rocks. And yes, because of the local fauna, there will be no shade as trees don’t grow on rocks. It will be very hot in the summer. If you go there just for the selfies, you can spare yourself the 3lv per person and go on one of the many other capes at the sea side. And btw, 3lv is completely reasonable for included parking.
However, if you would like to see beautiful nature, and you have some curiosity and appreciation for the history and the myth of the settlers on this cape, then you’re going to have a great time!

The entrance ticket is 3lv per adult and children enter for free, there is free parking for cars at the entrance and from there you walk, accessible to children but always supervised by parents, there are parts of the road that are dangerous if they go alone.

Good place to visit if you are interested in archeology. The walk to the cape itself from the parking is 15/20min around 1km. The view from the cape to the sea is breathtaking.
