The Alexandrinsky Theater. First theater at that place was founded by Empress Elisabeth I of All Russia (1723-1761) in 1756. You can enjoy a genuine spectacle in St. Petersburg.
Amazing ballet show. Cheap ticket only 100$ for the royal class and you get your own space.
Stunning interior and the seats are very comfortable. Water and other drinks are VERY expensive so bring your own.
OK,so,you have to realize that from certain seats you CANNOT see the stage .
This is not nice, and it is a big shock if you realize that for the first time once you get there.

So,unless you just want to listen to the music, dont buy those tickets.
If you have a good seat,it is a beautiful theater and Swan Lake was a very good performance.
almost every single ticket that costs 900 rubles is a ticket where you will not be able to see the stage.
But other than that,it was wonderful.

Historical theatre! Beautiful interiors! Fit for Royalties. However, after the show, it's not quick to exit the building due to lack of exit doors
The theater is very old but well maintained. We watched swan lake. It was an exceptional performance. The interior of the theater takes you back in time.
Very nice theater hall with a nice building. I recommend to see the Swan lake theater there. It can be unique experience.
An incredible experience in two ways. The first for the Theater in itself - the architecture, internal and external is superb. Second, and more important, the quality of the plays you can watch here. The presentations of operas and ballets here are, .. Read more »probably, one of the bests you'll in whole world.

Great theater but there are too many tourists who don’t behave like they should. Also if there are so many tourists they could really have something written on the tickets in English
Nice place for ballet Swan Lake, I headed to the box office in the afternoon and got a ticket for the night by 3,000 rub. Really a traditional and famous theatre for the performance.
Saw Swan Lake as part of our tour. I'm no judge of ballet, but it seemed very good. The auditorium was beautiful, but getting in and out was a little difficult.
Good place. A bit old style. However too hot inside. Otherwise good theatre to enjoy a Russian ballet
A beautiful and well maintained old theatre. We had difficulty in finding tickets online, it looked as if all seats were sold, however we went directly to the box office at the theatre and managed to get fantastic seats 4 rows from the stage. I think.. Read more » that many tickets sold online are through agents who are only given a selection, so don't despair if you can't find anything, even on the theatres website. If you attend the 1pm performance with children, know that many Russian families take snacks of bread and fruit so feel free to do the same, in the passages. The balcony seats to the left and right have very limited views and most people were standing. See photo for example. The performance of Swan Lake was amazing and magical.
