The Vorontsov Palace in Odessa is a stunning architectural masterpiece that was completed in 1828. Over the years, it has become one of the must-visit places in the city, attracting tourists and locals alike. With its picturesque location overlooking the Black Sea, it offers a breathtaking view that mesmerizes visitors. Although the palace has had a tumultuous history, including major fires and various uses over the past 180 plus years, it has recently undergone extensive renovations. The repairs and repainting have brought back its former glory, making it a sight to behold. Currently, the palace is surrounded by fences due to ongoing construction work. However, this does not take away from the overall beauty of the place. In fact, the surrounding park between the palace and the stairs is a hidden gem. It regularly hosts a variety of events, making it a lively and vibrant space for visitors to enjoy. While it may be a disappointment that the palace is temporarily closed to the public during the renovation, there is still much to appreciate in the area. One delightful surprise is the presence of beautiful and relaxed cats that can often be seen wandering around. These furry companions add an extra touch of charm to the already picturesque setting. All in all, the Vorontsov Palace remains a must-see attraction in Odessa, with its stunning architecture, breathtaking view, and the lively park nearby. Whether you're looking to capture the perfect selfie, immerse yourself in history, or simply enjoy the tranquility of the surroundings, this palace offers it all.

Unfortunately (however fortunately for the palace), it is being redecorated right now. Anyway, looks great. Huge plus for beautiful and relaxed cats walking around ;-)
