Ancient Egyptian temple, which is about 2000 years old. Initially intended for the worship of the god Amun, then became the center of worship of the goddess Isis. The temple was donated to Spain by the Egyptian authorities as a token of gratitude for saving the historical relics that were damaged during the construction of the Aswan Dam. The structure was dismantled into stones, transported to Madrid and installed in West Park.

Sunset photos are the best for this monument. It worth making a visit to enjoy the view. If you arrive a bit earlier, you can enjoy yourself by watching the security guard trying to persuade the people not to enter the temple area without permission.

This relatively small landmark is in the center of a beautiful park in Madrid. What makes the park so alive are the large numbers of locals who gather in groups to sit and socialize. I love the life, the peace, and tranquility of this place.
