Sumy Regional Museum

The Sumy Regional Museum is a really nice museum to visit if you find yourself in Sumy. It offers an interesting and simple experience that I personally enjoyed. The museum provides a nice orientation and display of the old days, with its display rooms being truly spectacular and eye-catching. Many consider it to be one of the best local lore museums in the Sumy region.
Although I unfortunately didn't have the opportunity to visit the museum due to quarantine, the general condition and appearance of the architectural monument is said to be inspiring. I hope to visit soon and evaluate the museum's exposition for myself.
From the feedback I've gathered, the 4th hall seems to be a favorite among visitors, as it showcases the Chain and the stand of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania. There was also special respect given to the wedding exhibition. However, it seems that the zoology department could use an update on its stuffed animal collection.
Overall, the museum is definitely worth a visit at least once, especially considering that the entrance fee is only 20 hryvnias. Visitors have described it as atmospheric and traditional, with excellent guides who provide a great experience. However, there have been a few complaints about some guides being unprepared and not supporting interest during the excursion, resulting in a somewhat dry experience. Nevertheless, the museum still manages to impress with its nice exhibits.
