St. Basil's Cathedral

St. Basil's Cathedral is a stunning architectural masterpiece that captures the hearts of all who visit. On the day of my visit, the cathedral was bustling with people, especially in the upper temple. This magnificent structure truly embodies the greatness of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church in Rivne. Nevertheless, everything about the cathedral is undeniably beautiful and awe-inspiring. From its grandeur to its spaciousness, it consists of two temples and houses numerous sacred artifacts. Catching a glimpse of the city from the highest point of the cathedral, one can't help but wonder how it will look once all the arrangements are completed. The cathedral boasts a miraculous icon of the Virgin, adorned with countless crosses, rings, and chains - a testament to the prayers of those who sought divine intervention in their struggles. The atmosphere within the cathedral is truly special, thanks in part to the presence of holy fathers who radiate warmth and a remarkable choir that enchants visitors with their heavenly voices.
