Queuing up for 2 hours before train seems badly organised and is especially daunting when a night train with no sleeper options follows.

The platform to go to Ukraine is segregated at the back of the station. There's one sign and you kind of have to figure out where to go. In order to get any Ukrainian train one must wait in a chaotic queue of 200 or so people. In the heat, without shade and no shops for water or water access, no bathrooms. This is probably as low as it gets, but no. The boarder force employees just sit inside the station without letting people in for no reason. When they do let people in, they are incredibly rude to Ukrainians. Shouting and demanding something. Obv Ukrainians don't speak polish, it's no reason to give people degrading rude treatment. the border force is nice to neutral to other passport holders. Ukrainians have a right to travel to the EU, to enter it though they have to undergo an demeaning and hateful treatment by the boarder force, who seems not to understand that some people coming through are literally returning form the war zone. There's no empathy, kindness or anything human in that border crossing just pointless rules to make people more uncomfortable it seems. First thing they can do is put up some shading tents for people to wait, if they can not imagine changing the system of ridiculous rules.

Convenient place to change the train if you are traveling from Ukraine somewhere in Europe. But train satiation a little bit dark at night, not enough lights there. But other stuff is good.

I’m an international tourist. The border control guard woman didn’t put the stamp in my passport and screamed at me in Polish without a reason. I asked her at least speak in English because I didn’t understand what was the problem. .. Read more »It didn’t help. Nevertheless she let me through the border without putting a stamp. What a rude irresponsible worker!
Then I had troubles on the passport control in airport because they couldn’t find that stamp. It took one hour to figure out why I hadn’t any stamp and to make an other that replaces that missing one.

Hazardous to health and well-being. I have a health condition (a tumor) that prevents me from carrying my luggage on stairs. Yesterday without any reason they closed the surface path to the station and forced everyone to exit the rails via an undergr.. Read more »ound path with 4 flights of stairs. The station didn't have anything except for a cashier - no bathroom, café, groceries. People were sitting outside in the rain.

This is really a good station. You'll find a locker to keep your luggage safe. And a big waiting area. Parking spaces are available. They made separate platform for the immigrant (PL4,5). And here is the office for immigration customer clearance.. Read more ».

This has got to one of the most beautiful stations in Poland, if not the world. Clean, efficient and well-organised. A remarkable renaissance building very tastefully renovated with its original features. Definitely try the restaurant.

THE best train station! : ) Got there on a sunday morning from Lviv. Three ticket counters Open with Ms. Joanna K. being very friendly and helpful booking my onwards passage to Berlin.
I asked the girl at the tourist Info about nearby bakeries open o.. Read more »n a sunday but only then saw the Selfier Café just opposite where I got some yummy local baked goods and good coffee, theres even a small supermarket for all the rest.
The whole building is beautifully restored, truly a perfect welcome when entering back into the EU (who probably funded this).

Very hard to find your train or even to find the central part of the train station to see a display of departures. The only way to find where to go for connecting train is to ask someone and hoped they understand you.
