Pam'yatnyk Olʹzi Kobylyansʹkiy, also known as the Monument to Olga Kobylianska, is a beautiful bronze monument located in Chernivtsi, Ukraine. It was erected in 1980 in front of the Chernivtsi Regional Music and Drama Theater, which is named after the famous Ukrainian writer. Olga Kobylianska was born in 1863 and grew up in Gur-Humor before moving to Chernivtsi with her family. She began writing at a young age and her works focused on important issues such as the emancipation of women. In Chernivtsi, she was involved in public activities, founded the Society of Russian Women in Bukovina, and taught children the Ukrainian language. Throughout her career, Kobylianska wrote numerous stories and essays, with her most acclaimed work being "The Earth" which highlighted the struggles of peasants in a capitalist world. In 1928, her 40th anniversary as a writer was celebrated, and a multivolume edition of her works was published in Kharkiv, allowing her to purchase her own house, which now serves as a literary and memorial museum. Kobylianska passed away in 1942 and was buried in Chernivtsi. Today, her legacy is honored with a monument in the city, and a central street in Chernivtsi is named after her.

The peak of creativity of the writer is the story "The Earth" (1901), in which the theme of the fate of the peasants in the capitalist world was acutely expressed. O. Kobylianska entered the Ukrainian literature as a realist writer, master of artistic word. In 1928, the Ukrainian public widely noted the 40th anniversary of the writer's work.
