Old Town Nessebar is a charming destination that offers a pleasant respite during a leisurely stroll through its beautiful streets. It's the perfect spot to grab a drink and unwind. The area boasts numerous restaurants with stunning views of the sea, providing a delightful dining experience. However, it's important to note that there is one restaurant, called Old Men Restaurant, that seems to have garnered negative feedback and may not live up to expectations. One downside of the area is that it allows access for cars and motorcycles, which can detract from the overall experience. The constant hustle and bustle of vehicles can be distracting and take away from the enjoyment of the city. Nevertheless, Old Town Nessebar is definitely worth a visit. The narrow, picturesque streets and unique architecture create a charming atmosphere. Additionally, taking a leisurely stroll along the beach adds to the overall appeal. The town itself holds historical significance, with evidence of its ancient past visible through its numerous churches, walls, and even a Roman theater. However, it's worth noting that the area can become quite crowded with tourists during the summer, and parking on the island can be challenging to find. It may be more convenient to park off the island and walk over or take the tram. Old Town Nessebar offers plenty of opportunities for photography enthusiasts, with its countless picturesque spots. However, it's important to remember that the area is bustling with people. When it comes to dining options, while there are numerous restaurants, they may not offer gourmet cuisine. Finally, it's worth mentioning that on-island hotels tend to be on the pricier side. Overall, Old Town Nessebar is a great destination for a day trip, particularly if you're staying in another location along the Black Sea.

Could be a very great place , but they allow access for cars and motorcycles so a big dislike for that. Instead of enjoying the city , you have to watch out for cars because they are always in a hurry , noisy bikes and diesel smell.

Old Town Nessebar is worth a visit or an overnight stay. I believe that Plovdiv Bulgaria is the oldest continuously inhabited city in Europe (7000 yrs), but Nessebar is very old and full of architectural evidence including many ancient churches, wal.. Read more »
