Big airports come with big things both good and bad. If you don’t mind huge crowds and sometimes long waits in the security line, or a fare terminal work then O’Hare won’t be a problem for you. But the good thing that comes with that , is more airline options, rental car options, and hundreds of restaurants to choose from. This is one airport I do recommend arriving early if your flight is during peak times!

The staff are always helpful. There are lots of bathrooms scattered around and they are immaculate.
It may be a long walk to your departure gate so be ready for a trek. Once you get there plenty of seating is available to take a rest.

being one of the busiest airports in the world has some disadvantages. I think depending upon which terminal you are flying into or out of greatly determines your satisfaction with this place. The newly added tram to the Rent-A-Car parking destinations lot is nice in the winter as you don’t have to go outside to catch the train.

Arrived with plenty of time to spare, but was pleasantly surprised with easy access to the airline check-in booths. Security was quick and efficient, while maintaining health protocol. Once inside, there could have been stricter enforcement of health.. Recently due to covid-19, the airport is less crowded. I have seen very few sanitizer station compared to other airports. I was able to check my bag and go through tsa for domestic flights in less than 30 minutes.

Chicago's biggest airport is a nice one, but boy is it busy. Even during covid, it's quite crazy. However, there seems to be a good amount of effort in making sure everything is clean and rules followed.

O'Hare has come a long way since the first time I had a flight to/from this airport. Its gotten cleaner, offers more stores with a focus on representing the arts and specialty stores, fewer chains and a greater selection of food offerings. Spe.. Read more »aking of food, you'll of course find the famous Garrets popcorn here, and the Chi-town favorite deep dish pizza from Giordano. But there is also a huge shift towards healthier options (I had Jamba Juice during this trip! - get the acai primo bowl!).
My only problem with this airport is the weather. It ruins flights day in and day out. Fr the turbulent flights to horrifying landings, Chicago's weather (namely the high winds) make it one of the worst airports to fly to or from...all year round, next to Denver.
I'd give it 4 stars but there isn't much open during this pandemic and there are too many people who don't seem to believe there IS a pandemic happening and therefore, a lot of people not wearing masks or being sanitary.
Otherwise, a decent airport, especially the dinosaur skeletons that greet you at certain gates/entrances!! Soooo cool.
