However, getting to the lighthouse can be a bit tricky, but it is absolutely worth the effort. The historic building itself is impressive and the top balcony provides stunning views. It could benefit from some more attention to its exterior and perhaps some shelter from the sun. Remember to bring cash when visiting this historic place and enjoy the beautiful view it offers. The war started from one of the windows of this lighthouse, and a monument has been placed in the spot where the first bullet hit.
