The Church of St. Wojciech is a small and charming church located in Krakow. It is believed to be the spot where St. Aldabert used to preach, making it a significant historical and religious site. Dating back to the 10th century, it is the oldest church in the city, although it was refurbished in the Baroque style in the 17th century. Despite its small size, the church is well-appointed inside and offers a picturesque exterior. Inside, visitors can also see a part of the ancient foundation through glass flooring panels. While it only takes a few minutes to explore, the church occasionally hosts chamber music concerts during the summer season. Situated near the larger cathedral and the main square market, the Church of St. Wojciech is often overlooked but definitely worth a visit. It provides a peaceful and intimate setting for those seeking a place to pray without the constant interruption of tourists. Additionally, its historical and architectural significance makes it a must-see attraction for anyone visiting Krakow. Unfortunately, the museum on the ground floor is cash-only, but the sanctuary is free to enter and offers a charming atmosphere. Overall, the Church of St. Wojciech is a hidden gem in the heart of Krakow, offering a glimpse into the city's rich history and religious heritage.

This small 17th-century church in baroque style sits in a corner of the main square. It's probably overlooked given the other impressive buildings there, but is well worth a gander.

Very cool how old the church is. Unfortunately, the museum on the ground floor was cash only, so I didn't get to go inside. But the sanctuary, which is free, of course, was very charming!

An incredible tiny historic church right in the heart of the city. A fun little fact is that you can see the original entrance a good eight or so feet underground, that shows you how the height of the city has increased since it was originally built!

Lots going on at all times of the day. Great for food and shopping at the market during the day and really pretty after the sunset. Great place for a drink or to just have a seat and enjoy the lively atmosphere.
