Castle Liechtenstein is an absolutely great experience! This gorgeous medieval castle has an interesting history and offers guided tours in both German and English. The guides are knowledgeable, friendly, and professional, and they respond well to questions. I highly recommend a visit to Castle Liechtenstein. Don't miss out on the opportunity to explore this castle, as you can only go inside with a guide. Tours are available every hour, and the price includes a guided tour. If you happen to miss a tour, there is a nice sculpture garden and a cafe at the foot of the castle where you can wait. The tour takes about an hour and is very informative. Park your car on the main parking area about 300m from the castle and take the walking trail on the left. This romantic and idyllic castle has lots of interesting sights to see. Although there are only guided tours available, the guides speak good English and are eager to answer your questions. The castle looks super impressive from the outside, and the surrounding paths offer wonderful views. If you have children, there is a playground available as well. The castle's medieval architecture and hilltop location create a captivating atmosphere, and the guided tours provide interesting insights into its history. The panoramic views from the castle grounds are truly breathtaking. While the pricing may be slightly high, a visit to Castle Liechtenstein is still a memorable and worthwhile experience. It's a great place to spend a weekend, with a playground, restaurant, and a very large park with many paths. The castle itself is a beautiful fort, although it may feel a bit expensive, especially for kids. The guide explains the history very well in English, and the tour lasts about 50 minutes. Please note that entry is only possible with a guide, which is included in the ticket price. The fort can be reached by bus, followed by a 5-10 minute walk. There is also a big playground for kids to enjoy. This old castle, dating back to the 12th century, is located close to Vienna. It has been well preserved by the Liechtenstein family and now serves as a museum. The majority of the interior is still original, and it is interesting to note that the castle was not built for defensive purposes, but rather for representation. The guided tour is also available in English, and the tour guide is really nice. Overall, I was very impressed with this castle. It is truly beautiful, and there is a rest area nearby where you can relax with friends or family. I highly recommend a visit, but keep in mind that the tours are done at every fixed hour, so you may need to wait to enter. It is definitely worth the visit, as the castle is amazing and was even used as a filming location for one of the Lord of the Rings movies. There is free parking available nearby, and remember that guided tours are the only way to explore the castle.
