Будинок Вайнгорта

"Будинок Вайнгорта" is a historical place with a wonderful atmosphere of antiquity. It was once the home of the renowned Poltava architect Aria-Leon Weingort. However, the building is currently in poor condition, with a broken courtyard, overgrown vegetation, and a cracked facade. The surrounding area is filled with modern apartment blocks that do not match the size or character of the original building. This is a cause for concern, as these developments threaten to destroy the historic center of Poltava, with Weingort's house being particularly at risk. It is hoped that a museum dedicated to the outstanding architect will open in this house soon. It is a sad situation, as it seems that we are not learning from the experiences of our Western neighbors and are allowing insensitive developments to encroach upon the historic quarters of the city. Nonetheless, despite these challenges, "Будинок Вайнгорта" remains an amazing place that is cherished by many.
