Read more »foreign card holders (but of course they don't tell you that, and just say some generic error) had to buy online 4) garden was closed for maintenance, it seems like it's been closed for a while. 5) departures is not clearly marked anywhere, they have two conflicting signs where it says Departures is on the ground floor and the other says that it's on the first floor. Horrible signage. They couldn't even bother to get someone who speaks English to translate properly on the officially manufactured signs "train's departure"? c'mon 6) there's luggage control/security, which I've never seen at any train station. I thought the whole point was that I didn't have to have that airport experience. 7) on top of this, the price (€90) for a 2-hour train ride is over double what it was in France, it's more expensive than a plane ticket to Seville AND it was 15 minutes late to depart. I didn't realize you could make a train station this bad, or mess up transit so much, but it seems that Spain has. And this is supposed to be their flagship station in their biggest city!!
