Antalya, Turkey

ataturk-house-museum
A two-story mansion near the sea was presented by local authorities to the first president of Turkey, who earned the honorary title of "Father of the Turks." Kemal Atatürk appeared here only a couple of times, and in 1986 his museum was opened in the building. It was possible to preserve the interior of the 30s - furniture, carpets, household items. Personal items, photographs, manuscripts of the great Turk are presented. Of considerable interest is the collection of coins, banknotes and postage stamps with the image of the first president.

The history behind this magnificent Turkish powerful figure is interesting. As you notice every proud Turk has a picture of Ataturk on his shop or home. The house is free entrance. Recommended 💯

It's a small museum which looks well-maintained, but as a foreign tourist, I am a little frustrated that most of the written information about the artifacts as well as the audio visual presentation have no English translation.

Actually this is a misunderstanding, this was not his house. Its a two storey mansion where he stayed for someday during his visit to ANTALIA. Many things that he used during his stay.

This place is worth seeing, the feel when you walk in, to think Ataturk walked the steps from room to room. And it's no fee entry.

It's a nice place but unfortunately this house is just a replica since the real house was where the road goes through currently and was demolished to enlarge the road.
