It was nice but the cargo cars weren't clean enough. As it rained before they opened it. We went and charged a 12 year old 30 laris instead of 7 bc of the height, which doesn't make any sense. You may see the whole Batumi. Breathtaking view. Recommend it 1000%. We stood in queue for about 20 minutes, but it was worth it. Maybe one of the nicest cable car rides in Georgia. It's quite a long ride, and goes way up above the city to a nearby mountain. Once there, it's worth hanging out for a beer or a small meal. The view from the mountain is magnificent.

This place is succhhhh a disappointment though. Once you get to the top there is absolutely nothing but a cafe. And In someones bright idea when building this cafe is in a way the blocks the entire view of the city and black sea. It was crazy for us to see considering you pay 30gel each person to go up just to have a blocked view if you want to relax at the cafe.
THE ONLY WAY TO DO IT RIGHT. Go at 8pm or a littler after, when the sun is lower. Bring a blanket and some food, drinks, music and good company. And hang out downstairs from the cafe in the lawn (which doesn't have an blocked view) and have your own picnic and watch the sun set.
This place closes at 11pm so you'll have a lot of time.

Good 2-3 hour activity in Batumi, nice views of the city from the top of the hill.
There are souvenir shops and a cafe/ restaurant at the top of the hill where you can sip coffee, have some snacks and dessert. I went in November so it was cold.
