Arena Lviv is a stunning football stadium located on the outskirts of Lviv, Ukraine. It has received high praise from visitors for its beautiful design and excellent views of the pitch. With a capacity of 34,915, it offers a great atmosphere for football matches, with passionate fans filling the stands. The stadium provides a good selection of food at reasonable prices and has plenty of toilets to accommodate the large crowds. The viewing angles are impressive, ensuring that there is not a bad seat in the house. However, accessing the stadium can be a challenge, especially by car on match evenings. The stadium is situated on the edge of the city, and there is no direct public transport route available. The nearest bus stop is 1.5km away, and the bus route itself is busy and overcrowded. Traffic in the city center can also be chaotic, so it is recommended to allocate a significant amount of time to reach the stadium. Unfortunately, the organization of entering the stadium can be disorganized, with a limited number of gates open and a lack of clear instructions. Despite these challenges, Arena Lviv remains a highly regarded venue for football matches, national competitions, international tournaments, and other events like concerts. It also offers additional amenities such as a restaurant area, VIP zone, and various activities like a driving school and potential cart racetrack. Overall, while the stadium itself is impressive, its maintenance and utilization for football events could be improved.

It is a good place, in general. It is almost outside of the city and you may experience difficulty in getting there by car (of course on match evening). However, there are much of concrete, much of football, and much of fans. Nevertheless, this is pr.. Read more »obably what you should really expect at football arena :)

Without doubt the Lviv Area is a 5* venue. A great arena to watch football with a design trapping the atmosphere between the fans and the pitch. Great viewing angles regardless of the price of the ticket you paid for. There isn't a bad seat in t.. Read more »he house. Plenty of toilets, reasonably priced food as well as a decent selection of eateries (inside) around the ground. But.... and this but is massive. So big it takes a 5 star review to a 2, and even a 2 is being generous when you think of the madness that is involved to get to the stadium.
Firstly, the stadium is on the very edge of the city. There is NO public transport that goes directly to the stadium. The nearest stop is 1.5km away from the stadium. OK, a walk before you get to the stadium? That isn't really a problem, but getting to that bus stop is. There is only one bus route that goes from the centre of the city to the stop 'near' the stadium. This route is also one of the busiest in the city which means in terms of Lviv, you are going to be pressed up against someone, forget sitting down. Prepare yourself to wrestle to get on and off the 3A bus. Sadly, this bus route does not increase its amount of buses on the route on a match day be it a derby day or hosting a European competition.
Secondly, while the stadium is only around 7.6km from the centre, if you are using public transport, you really should give yourself at least 90 minutes to get to the stadium from the centre. Traffic in the centre in Lviv is chaotic. If it's a mid-week game, give yourself even more time. Don't be surprised if you give yourself 90 minutes before kick-off to get to the game and you're still late. It's a real shame the city council or clubs don't take this into consideration when it's game day.
Organisation of getting into the stadium is also a mess. Limited number of gates are open, lack of direction and instructions of getting into the stadium. The gates are digital, yet fans queue up to turnstiles that are manned, nobody is directing people to the unmanned turnstiles which work as well.
I felt the need to write this review after Rukh Lviv played FC Lviv the weekend that's just gone and me and my friend got into the stadium 20 minutes after kick off thanks to the madness that is involved with Arena Lviv.
Just to note, the saddest thing I saw that day was a father and son both wearing Rukh shirts waiting at a bus stop in the centre that couldn't stop because it was already full.

Impressive stadium but the local team - FC Lviv - is quite disappointing and has no real local fan base. Difficult to get an Uber after the match

The stadium where Ukrainian National Football team never lost! Great infrastructure, but the stadium is slightly falling apart since its not maintained or used for the purpose of football. That’s very sad.

There was a feeling that it is unfinished. Some non completed parts of building, parking area, entrance. Outside and inside the territory in not ideal. From pros: Good field cover for the football, enough place for parking. Good for concerts.
