Established in 1989 Area - about 330 hectares. Located in a conservation area, 13 km from the center of Antalya, at the foot of the mountain. About 90 species of animals from different parts of the planet live here. All of them are kept in spacious enclosures with excellent conditions, as close as possible to the natural environment. There is a children's mini zoo. The whole territory resembles an ennobled forest, in addition to aviaries, there are many places for recreation and picnics, sports and playgrounds.

Worth a visit if you are in Antalya. Take the tram to the last stop and the zoo is a short walk away from the tram stop (10/15 minutes walk).
Only 7 lira ticket price for an adult which is dirt cheap (as of May 2022). The zoo offers plenty of animal.. Read more »s, picnic spaces, play areas and a small cafe. You are given a map of the zoo as well.
The zoo is spread over a big area and is steep in some places so remember to wear comfy walking shoes.

There is so much shaded land for picnicking on Antalya Zoo’s property. The zoo should re-use at least half of the land and create larger, more beautiful and shaded enclosures for the hyenas, bears, lions, and tigers with clean running water. Don’t be stingy!! We humans do not need that space, the animals need it. We all know how it feels to be locked indoors from the pandemic times. Give these beautiful animals the space they need and deserve to be happy.
