The Alexander Nevsky Cathedral is a stunning example of Orthodox church architecture. Built in 1897 to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the annexation of Podillya to Russia, it was funded by the Alexander Nevsky guardianship and restored in 2011 after being destroyed during the Soviet era. Although it was not possible to visit the inside of the cathedral, the exterior is truly impressive and well-maintained. Muscovites were not allowed on the church grounds, but a "service" is conducted on May 9th in honor of "Victory Day," although it is unclear who they are serving. The territory surrounding the cathedral is monitored and beautifully landscaped, creating a peaceful and reflective atmosphere. Visitors can enjoy the cozy square around the cathedral and are encouraged to visit for prayer. The interior of the cathedral is described as amazing, bright, and majestic, with wonderful paintings adorning the walls. Overall, the Alexander Nevsky Cathedral is a place of beauty and reverence, where one can contemplate the eternal. The cathedral is also honored and respected by grateful godparents and little godmother Anna, with a special mention to Feodor Kulinich.

The outside is eye catching, the inside even more so. There is something to look at everywhere, it's gorgeous. Take a few minutes to pray, meditate, or say thanks for the life you lead.
